Let me share my story..
Hi, I’m Shawn—the person behind Getlenscrafted.
I’ve always been drawn to photography because of what it holds onto. For me, it’s like collecting memories—moments you can come back to years later and still feel something.
It started with old Kodak disposable cameras, and after getting my first digital camera in 1999, I never really stopped. In college, I worked as a photojournalist, which taught me to focus on real moments, not staged ones. I stepped away for a bit after graduating, but moving to New England—especially seeing the landscapes and fall colors—brought me back to it.
Outside of photography, I enjoy cooking, which keeps me connected to my great grandmother, watching sports, and the occasional video game.
At the end of the day, photography is still what I love most—because it’s about capturing something real.

So instead of putting you into stiff poses, I guide you in a way that feels natural—simple directions, real movement, and space for genuine moments to happen.
